Solidaritätsadresse der DKP Betriebsgruppe Post an die Genossinnen und Genossen der KP der USA
An die Genossinnen und Genossen der KP der USA,
An die Generalsekretäre der KP der USA, Joe Sims und Rossana Combron,
Liebe Genossinnen und Genossen, die kommunistischen Postler aus Kassel senden euch unsere Solidarität in eurem Kampf gegen die Versuche der Privatisierung [der US-Post] durch die Kapitalisten der USA und die Trump-Administration.
Nachdem unsere Parteizeitung „Unsere Zeit“ einen Aufsatz von Mark Guenger und Brandon Chew aus der Zeitung der KP der USA „People´s World“ über den Kampf der Postler [übersetzt und] abgedruckt hatte, diskutierten wir, wie wir Solidarität und Unterstützung zeigen könnten.
Zuerst sahen wir uns daher die Kampforientierung an, mit der die Kollegen vor Ort kämpfen: die Postler sehen ihre Arbeit im Zusammenhang mit den Gemeinschaften, in denen sie Post zustellen. Nun sind es diese Gemeinschaften, die [zusammen mit den Postlern] ihre Post verteidigen. In Deutschland erarbeitete die Deutsche Postgewerkschaft 1973 das Programm der Bürgerpost und nutzte das in neuer Form im Kampf gegen die Privatisierung in den späten 1980er Jahren. Es ist inspirierend für uns, dass wir sehen, dass die Arbeiter und die nichtmonopolistischen Klassen [und Schichten] diese Kampfformen gegen die Monopole in fast allen Ländern suchen und nutzen.
Hier in Deutschland ist die privatisierung abgeschlossen, die Hälfte der Arbeiter haben ihre Jobs verloren, die Postzustellung wird schlechter und schlechter und die Kapitalisten schlagen die Arbeiter- und Gewerkschaftsbewegung in vielen Kämpfen. Und dennoch behindern sozialdemokratisch geführte Gewerkschaften durch Antikommunismus konsequente Kämpfe und behindern die Arbeiterbewegung so weiter.
Wenn ihr, Genossen, etwas von uns braucht, können wir euch gerne die auf unserer Website gesammelten Analysen zur Deutschen Post übersetzen oder etwas neues schreiben um klar zu machen, was mit den Postarbeitern und der Zustellung passiert, wenn privatisiert wird.

To the General Secretary of the Communist Party of the USA, Joe Sims and Rossana Combron,
Dear Comrades, the communist postal workers of Kassel are sending out our solidarity to you and your struggle against the privatizition efforts of the Capitalists of the USA and the Trump-Administration.
After our party´s newspaper „our time“ (Unsere Zeit) reprinted an article by Mark Guenberg and Brandon Chew in Peoples World, the newspaper of the CPUSA, about the struggle of the postal workers, we discussed how to show our solidarity and support for your struggle.
First, we discussed the line of struggle which the workers choose, the postal workers put togehter their work with the community they´re serving. Now it´s the community which defends it´s postal servives. In Germany, the German Postal Union (Deutsche Postgewerkschaft) has put out the program of a citizen post (Bürgerpost) in 1973, they reproduced it in it´s fight against the privatization in the late 1980s. It´s inspiring for us to see, that the workers, the non-monopolist classes are choosing this form of struggle against the monopolys in nearly all of the lands.
In Germany, the privatization is over, we lost over half of the workforce, service is rapidely declining, the capitalists are throwing down the workers- and the trade-union movement. Nevertheless anti-communism rules social-democrat driven trade-unions. Thus, making the working class less and less able to defend itsself.
